4.15.26 Release Notes

New SWIS (SDEX) Behavior Data Integration

We’ve added support for districts to share behavior incident data from SWIS with Branching Minds through SDEX.

This new integration gives districts a more automated way to share behavior/referral data with Branching Minds for use in behavior reporting and Early Warning System functionality, without needing to manually prepare recurring files. Districts can enable sharing by generating school-level SDEX access codes in SWIS and securely providing those codes to Branching Minds for setup.

What’s included:

  • behavior incident/referral data from SWIS

  • automated batch extraction through SDEX after setup

  • support for district schools included in the configured SDEX batch

  • mapping of SWIS referral data into the Branching Minds behavior data model

This integration supports behavior data only. Districts using Branching Minds Early Warning System (EWS) features will still need to share attendance and course performance data through another supported method.
