How do I create a SEL & Behavioral Health intervention plan?

Updated over a week ago

Similar to an academic intervention plan, SEL & Behavioral Health intervention plans include - goals, interventions, progress monitors, and supplemental supports, and can be created with or without Insight Survey Results.

However, SEL & Behavioral Health intervention plans differ in how teachers monitor progress. Instead of using traditional Curriculum-Based Measurements (CBMs), teachers can monitor progress - either individually or collaboratively - using a scale, percent, score, or rate measure. Managers must add these measures to the SEL & Behavioral Health Progress Monitor Library ahead of adding them to a student's plan (see the FAQ for How do I add, remove, or edit a behavior progress monitor the the library).

To Create a SEL & Behavioral Health Goal and Progress Monitoring Plan

  1. Select Green Plus button to add a Goal & Progress Monitor

  2. Enter the start and end weeks of the plan

  3. Select the progress monitor you wish to use from the drop down, or select the button below that says create new assessment/measure.

  4. Choose the teacher(s) who will be monitoring the student's behavior

  5. Write in when the teacher will monitor (time of day, hour, class period, etc).

  6. Click Save.

Note: It will show a message Request in Progress when a user adds a high number of users and subjects to the plan. It will send an email notification when the plan is ready.

Select the Green Plus button to add Interventions & Supports and follow the same steps as for an academic intervention (See the FAQ for How do I create an academic intervention plan?)
